Now, Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate general blessings. Their three-day feast consisted of corn, shellfish, roasted meat, and deer. The pilgrims and Wampanoag didn't serve the same foods we traditionally feast on today. It was a meal designed to give thanks for the blessings of a good harvest and gesture of kindness between the two diverse groups of people. Check your work out, and then Print.The very first Thanksgiving meal was a celebration between the Wampanoag Native Americans and the Pilgrims. To review your work before you print go to Office Button in the top-left section of the tool bar, click Print and then click on Print Preview. Now type in your words, changing the font, color and size as desired. Select text box, then choose Format (it will not appear unless text box is selected), then choose Shape Outline and select No Outline.Ĩ. Click the page where you would like the words to be and your text box will appear, then drag the text box into the center of the border and resize it.ħ. To add a text box, select Insert from the top tool bar, then choose Text Box and then select Draw Text Box at bottom of pull-down menu.
